Tswana is a Bantu language spoken by people in southern Africa. The native name of the language is Setswana, and the people who speak it are known as Batswana.

Setswana has 8,2 million native speakers and is spoken in Botswana and South Africa. Setswana is a member of the Sotho-Tswana group, and is most closely related to Sesotho and Sepedi.
