Sepedi

Northern Sotho is a Bantu language spoken by people in southern Africa. The native name of the language is Sepedi (or Sesotho sa Leboa), and the people who speak it are known as Bapedi.

Sepedi has 4,7 million native speakers and is spoken in the northeastern provinces of South Africa. Sepedi is a member of the Sotho-Tswana group, and is most closely related to Setswana and Sesotho.
